The objective is to study and what species of vegetation types would become pioneer species and subsequent eco-relationship with bird, insect or other fauna types. The success factors of such a cost-effective urban greening solution will be made readily available to home owners in Singapore after the study. | |
| 2. | URBAN ARCHITECTURE/URBAN FARMING |
| Greenology is undertaking this with its own funding. We are having a number of interested parties approaching us to use our GVG8 vertical planter modules system to grow herbs and vegetables on roof tops and even in HDB balconies. The G8 system has been developed specifically for this. | |
| 3. | INDOOR GREENWALL LIGHTS / LED LIGHTS FOR URBAN AGRICULTURE |
| Greenology was one of the first companies to introduce red and blue LEDs for its greenwalls. We design and manufacture our own R/B LED lights for plant growth on our greenwalls and urban agriculture kits. We are exploring collaborations with Philips on this as well. |
