The GVG systems are advanced vertical greening solutions that have been developed to recreate the natural growing system of plants in any vertical urban space in a very cost-effective, accessible, sustainable and eco-friendly way.
From the smallest vertical greening in small apartments to tall skyscrapers, our GVG5 forms a Living Green Skin over any wall, building or structure.
GVG5 – Greenology Vertical Greenery 5
We have moved on from our 1st generation system, GVG1, which was a bulky, boxy-type system. They were heavy and required costly engineering. Our latest 5th generation system, GVG5, is a thinner and lighter system.
Our research over 4 years has shown that plants in our vertical greening systems adapt to lower volumes of growing media. We do not use soil!
The slim panels we use, provide plants with more available growing substrate in the Nanofibre® and the GMatrix™ because of the contiguous sharing of media. Both have been engineered to last for at least 10 years. The roots of plants have a larger surface area of substrates to grow into and onto. This is one of the key reasons why all our plants thrive in our GVG systems in both our indoor and outdoor Greenwalls.
The GVG5 is our latest technological innovation in vertical greening. The thinnest (40mm), lightest and sustainable system, mounted on a versatile and durable framing structure, is one of the most cost-effective Urban Greening systems in Singapore and possibly the world!
